As a volunteer for animal rescue organizations and shelters and the former owner of a pet services business, she has seen firsthand to beloved animal companions in the aftermath of disasters when a plan is not in place, including the loss and grief on family members' faces in response to heart-wrenching choices. She became an attorney in order to make a difference for animals and the people who care for them. Ashley founded her organization, Keep the Promise [keepthepromisetopets.org] so that everyone who cares so deeply for their companion animals can KEEP THE PROMISE...no matter what.
