During Debbie's affiliation with the Central Jersey Bird Club, one of her duties included being the club's Artist for over six years, illustrating the cover of the monthly newsletter called the “Newsbeak”.
 Debbie's two children, Kristen and Jessie, have been members of the 4-H Club and she has assisted with various projects for “The Mighty Cavits and Rodents Club”, “The Pocket Pal Rescue Club”, and the “Pets Club”.
Debbie has appeared in newspaper clippings for showing her birds to the also appeared as a guest speaker for the “Washington Valley Garden Club” where she spoke on “The Care, Feeding, and Breeding of Birds”. She wrote an article on her lovebirds for the “New Jersey Pets Magazine” published in the May/June 2003 issue.
Debbie works part-time for a Kennel in Belle Mead, NJ. She is a multi-tasked worker caring for animals. Becoming a Grooming Assistant is an enjoyment for her.
